Chapter Twenty-Five: A New World Awaits

Aboud could hardly believe what he was hearing. The idea that Grigor wasn’t just an ordinary prisoner but a successful businessman and leader of a German hacker mafia was beyond his imagination. He started to think deeply about Grigor's words and the opportunities that might be opening up for him. He had been living in a whirlpool of suffering and fear, and the thought that someone like Grigor was offering him a chance to escape this dark fate felt like a dream.

Aboud (hesitantly, with fear):
"And what is this plan?"

Grigor smiled lightly, as if he was testing Aboud to see if he was ready to hear more.

Grigor (calmly, analyzing):
"Listen carefully, Aboud. I still have powerful connections in Germany. Even while I’m in here, I maintain a lot of influence. All I need is a bit of time, and within a year, I’ll be out of this place. And I’ll make sure you don’t end up in Syria."

Aboud was stunned but at the same time unsure if he could trust Grigor.

Aboud (anxiously):
"But... how? What can I do?"

Grigor (seriously):
"When I get out of here, I’ll arrange a way for you to escape after your sentence ends. You’ll have two options: either go back to Syria and live the rest of your life in misery, or come with me and start a new life in Germany. But it won’t be free."

Aboud felt his heart race. He wasn’t sure if he was ready to enter a world of crime, but what Grigor offered was tempting.

Grigor (continuing):
"I will send people to you when you’re out. These people will take care of hiding you from the authorities. I won’t let them send you to Syria, Aboud. You have a chance, but it’s only one."

Aboud sat in silence. A chance he never dreamed of was right in front of him, but he also realized that the life Grigor was offering was far from easy. The thought of working with a German mafia, running from the authorities, wasn’t a normal life. But what did he have to lose? Grigor (in a calm voice during a training session):

One night, they sat together, talking about the past. Aboud had started to trust Grigor and decided to open up about his journey from Syria to Turkey, then Bulgaria, and how he ended up in prison.

Aboud (with a sad tone):
"All I wanted was a normal life, but it seems life doesn’t offer me that choice."

Grigor (understandingly):
"Life wasn’t fair to me either. But the difference is, I decided to fight instead of giving up. You have to fight, Aboud. The world doesn’t spare the weak."
