Chapter 69: You're a Traitor, Nothing but a Traitor!

After John shot the leader, wounding his shoulder, the leader collapsed to the ground in pain. The room was filled with the sound of bullets flying and cries echoing through the chaos. Despite his injury, the leader didn't give up easily and fired a shot back at John, hitting him in the side and causing him to fall to the ground.

John (with a gasping breath, wincing in pain):
"The game is over... everyone wants control."

Abboud, seeing John fall, realized that there was no time to waste. He had to act quickly. Despite the chaos, Abboud managed to grab a gun from one of the nearby guards and took control of the situation. He began shooting with precision, taking down the leader’s men one by one. The place turned into a battlefield, but Abboud, with his combat experience and sharp intelligence, swiftly took charge.

As the leader tried to get up, clutching his remaining gun, he glared at Abboud with eyes full of rage. The leader fired one last shot at Abboud, but it missed its mark.

Leader (gritting his teeth in anger):
"You won’t escape... I’ll kill all of you!"

But Abboud was faster this time. He lunged toward the leader and fired a direct shot into his chest. The leader fell to the ground, twitching for a few moments before breathing his last breath. The leader of the organization was finally dead.

Abboud (standing over the leader’s body):
"It’s all over now... you won’t threaten our lives anymore."

With the death of the leader, Abboud quickly moved toward John, who was writhing in pain on the ground. John was bleeding heavily, and Aurora rushed to his side.

Aurora (her voice filled with sorrow and shock):
"John... why? Why all of this?"

John (his voice weak and full of regret):
"I’m sorry, Aurora... I was greedy. I wanted control of everything. I wanted to become the new Gregor... but I was wrong. I’m the one who killed your father. I wanted to take his wallet and his fortune. I thought I could handle it all."

Aurora burst into tears, unable to believe what she was hearing. She looked at John with eyes full of anger and pain. She couldn’t reconcile the fact that the person she had trusted, and perhaps even loved in some way, was the one responsible for all this destruction.

Aurora (stepping back from him):
"You're a traitor... nothing but a traitor!"

John (his voice broken):
"I know... I deserve this. But know this, I did love you in some way, but I was never the man you needed."

With each word, John slowly lost consciousness. His bleeding was too severe, and there was no hope of saving him. Gradually, he closed his eyes and stopped breathing. John's life had come to an end.

While Aurora wept over John’s body, Abboud noticed a bag that had been with the leader. Slowly, he opened it and found what looked like electronic devices and secret documents. This bag contained some keys and information the leader had been using to gain control of the digital wallet.

Abboud (in a quiet voice):
"This bag... it’s what this was all about. With the wallet and the code... we now hold everything."

But Abboud didn’t feel victorious. He understood that all this power might be more of a curse than a blessing. He looked at Aurora, who was wiping her tears, and said:

Abboud (with compassion):
"We won’t use this power for evil. We’ll do the right thing, for Gregor and for you."

After a few moments of heavy silence, they both realized that the police were probably on their way. There was no time to linger. Abbas was waiting for them outside in the car, anxious but steady despite the tension.

Abbas (looking nervously from the car window):
"You guys need to move fast, time is running out!"

Abboud (quickly grabbing Aurora’s hand):
"We need to go now. There’s no time to mourn the past."

Abboud and Aurora ran from the hideout, heading toward the car. The chaos still surrounded them, but they managed to escape just before the police arrived. Abbas sped off as soon as they got in, leaving behind the wreckage and death.

As the car sped away from the scene, Abboud looked down at the bag next to him. This wasn’t just a victory over the organization, it was the beginning of something new for their lives. Now, with this dark chapter behind them, they had to start thinking about the future.

Abboud (speaking softly, deep in thought):
"Finally... it’s all over."

But despite everything, there were still unanswered questions. Was this truly the end, or was there something else lurking on the horizon? As the car disappeared into the night, Abboud knew that the challenges weren’t entirely behind them, but they were ready for whatever came next.
