Aboud was sitting in his apartment, contemplating his next step in life after he had come closer to reuniting with Leila. Suddenly, his phone rang unexpectedly. He looked at the screen and saw a private number.
Aboud (to himself): "Who could this be?"
"Hello, Aboud. It's John."
Aboud (to himself, feeling uneasy): "That scoundrel, John. What does he want now?"
Aboud answered the phone hesitantly.
Aboud: "Hello, John."
John (serious and firm): "Aboud, we need to talk. I want you to come to the nightclub I own tonight. There are matters we need to discuss."
Aboud (surprised): "The nightclub? Why there?"
John (in a mysterious tone): "This isn't the time for questions. Just come, and I'll explain everything when you get here. Don't be late."
John hung up before Aboud could ask any more questions. His tone suggested that something serious was happening behind the scenes. Aboud felt a strange sense of anxiety, but he knew he had to go. John wasn't the type of person to talk without a reason.
That evening, Aboud put on his jacket and prepared to head to the nightclub owned by John. The cold air outside and the nearly empty streets heightened his unease. He drove slowly until he reached the location. The nightclub was full of bright lights and loud music, but Aboud wasn't there to enjoy himself. He knew there was something bigger awaiting him inside.
Aboud (to himself): "What could be behind this invitation?"
When Aboud entered the nightclub, he noticed John sitting in a dark corner surrounded by bodyguards. The atmosphere was tense, and everyone seemed to be watching Aboud as he approached the table.
John (calm but serious): "Come, Aboud. Sit down. We have some matters to discuss."
Aboud sat down across from John, and the tension in the air became more palpable. The loud music and flashing nightclub lights created an atmosphere filled with mystery.
Aboud (cautiously): "What’s this all about that it couldn’t be discussed anywhere else?"
John (in a firm tone): "You know that Aurora’s father, Grigor, trusted you deeply. He believed you were someone he could rely on in dangerous times. But there's more to this than just trust, Aboud."
Aboud (puzzled): "What do you mean? Are you talking about the digital wallet?"
John (in a mysterious voice): "Exactly. The digital wallet Grigor had isn't just money. It’s a key to things far bigger than you might imagine. And Grigor knew that. Now... you’re under surveillance. Someone is watching you and wants what you have."
Aboud (surprised): "Who are they? Who’s watching me? And how do you know about the digital wallet? I almost got killed over it in Turkey."
John (serious): "A dangerous organization that’s been tracking Grigor for years. When they found out he gave you the key, you became the target. And I’m here to warn you because things might escalate quickly. Your life is in danger."
Aboud felt a sense of mystery and fear creeping into his mind. He had always known Grigor wasn't just an ordinary person, but things were becoming bigger and more dangerous than he had anticipated.
Aboud (with a voice filled with doubt): "Why are you telling me this now?"
John (smiling coldly): "Because you matter to me. And because I need something from you. I want us to work together to end this story. We have the same goal: protecting Aurora and retrieving the wallet."
Aboud didn’t fully trust John, but the circumstances weren’t in his favor. He felt there was something big about to happen, and he needed to be cautious. However, he also couldn’t ignore the fact that his life, and the lives of those he loved, might be in danger.
Aboud (in a calm voice): "What exactly do you want from me?"
John (with a mysterious smile): "I want you to work with me. I’ll protect you from the organization, and together we’ll figure out where the wallet is. You’ll be able to get your normal life back, and I’ll achieve what I want."
Aboud (seriously): "If you’re going to help me, I’ll consider it. But I don’t want to be a pawn in this game."
John (calmly): "Don’t worry. You’re not a pawn. You’re a partner."
After the meeting, Aboud left the nightclub, feeling a heavy weight on his chest. The world he had entered was becoming more complicated than he had ever imagined. He knew the coming days would be filled with challenges, but he was ready.
