Chapter Sixty-Three: The Surprising Solution

Aboud (with frustration in his voice): "I spoke with the authorities, and they told me that the reunification process could take a year or even two. Sometimes the application gets rejected altogether. I don’t know how I’ll be able to bring Layla here."

Aurora listened silently, understanding how deeply Aboud cared for Layla and how much effort he had put into being with her. Despite the moments of weakness that had brought them closer, she knew that Aboud needed real help.

Aurora (in a calm and confident tone): "Aboud, don’t worry. There’s an easier way to bring Layla here."

Aboud looked at Aurora in astonishment, trying to understand what she meant.

Aboud (in surprise): "What do you mean? How is that possible?"

Aurora (with a slight smile): "Instead of waiting for all that bureaucratic processing, I’ll offer her a job in the company. I can easily get her a work visa. It’s quite simple. She could be here within days."

Aboud froze for a moment, unable to process what he had just heard. The solution Aurora proposed was so simple yet incredibly effective. He had never imagined there could be a faster way to bring Layla to Germany.

Aboud (astonished, with his eyes shining with hope): "Is that possible? Can you really do that?"

Aurora (confidently): "Yes, absolutely. I’m the director here, and I can issue her a job offer and complete the visa process in a short time. We won’t need to wait as long as the family reunification process."

Suddenly, Aboud stood up as if a heavy burden had been lifted from his chest. He couldn’t believe that such an easy solution had been within reach the whole time.

Aboud (overwhelmed with joy): "Aurora, I can’t believe what you’re saying! Can she really come that quickly?"

Aurora (smiling): "Yes, Aboud. You can trust me. I’ll send her the job offer tomorrow, and once she accepts it, we’ll start the visa process. Don’t worry, everything will be fine."

Aboud felt a joy he hadn’t experienced in a long time. The obstacles he had been facing suddenly seemed to disappear. He moved towards Aurora, his eyes filled with gratitude.

Aboud (genuinely thankful): "Aurora, I can’t thank you enough. You’ve saved me. Layla means everything to me... I don’t know how I’ll repay you for this kindness."

Aurora (with a warm smile): "No need to thank me, Aboud. I just want to help. Sometimes it’s the simple things that make the biggest difference."

Aboud was practically floating with happiness, knowing now that his dream of bringing Layla to Germany was close to becoming a reality. He began thinking about all the plans he had been waiting to make for so long.

Aboud (eagerly): "I’m going to call Layla right away and tell her. I can’t wait to see her reaction."

Aurora chuckled a little as she saw the unmistakable joy on Aboud’s face and playfully said:

Aurora (playfully): "Don’t forget to tell her to fill out the paperwork quickly!"

Aboud (smiling): "Of course, I’ll tell her everything!"

Then, Aboud returned home.

A week of nervous anticipation passed, and Aboud was sitting in his apartment, reviewing some paperwork for his new job and keeping track of the visa updates. He wasn’t expecting any news today, but naturally, he was anxious, like anyone waiting for something important in their life. His phone suddenly rang.

Aboud (curious): "Who could this be?"

When he looked at the screen, he saw an unknown number, but his gut told him this call might be about the visa.

Aboud (expectantly): "Hello?"

The employee on the other end (in a formal tone): "Hello, Mr. Aboud? I’m calling from the visa office, and I wanted to inform you that your fiancée’s visa has been approved. You can begin making arrangements for her travel."

Aboud couldn’t believe what he was hearing at first. It felt as if the world had stopped for a moment, and a heavy weight had been lifted from his chest. He jumped up from his seat, ignoring the papers he had been working on, his eyes sparkling with joy.

Aboud (with excitement in his voice): "Really? It’s approved?!"

The employee (calmly): "Yes, it’s approved. You can start making the travel arrangements. Congratulations."

Aboud hung up the phone, feeling like he was living in a dream. He hadn’t expected the news to come so soon. Immediately, he decided to call Layla to share the wonderful news.

He grabbed his phone and called Layla, feeling as if he was about to burst from happiness.

Aboud (eagerly): "Hello, Layla! I have amazing news for you."

Layla (eagerly): "Aboud? What is it?"

Aboud (with indescribable joy): "The visa’s approved, Layla! Finally, you’ll be able to come here. Everything is settled, and you’ll be with me soon!"

Aboud could hear Layla’s voice from the other end, filled with tears of joy.

Layla (tearfully): "Oh my God, Aboud... I can’t believe it. Will I really be able to travel?"

Aboud (with warmth in his voice): "Yes, my love. Everything is ready. Now we’ll just organize your trip here."

After the call, Aboud and Layla began coordinating all the necessary travel arrangements. Aboud contacted the company to finalize the details and make sure all the paperwork related to Layla’s arrival in Germany was ready.

Aboud (talking to a company employee): "Hello, I just wanted to confirm that everything is set for Layla’s arrival. We’re ready for the final steps."

The employee (calmly): "Yes, everything is ready. We’re just waiting for her arrival, and she’ll be ready to start working once she gets here."

After finishing all the arrangements, Aboud sat in his apartment feeling at ease for the first time in a long while. Everything he had dreamed of was now becoming a reality. Everything was falling into place just as he had hoped. He smiled to himself, thinking about the future he would soon have with Layla.

Aboud (whispering to himself): "Finally... after all this time, we’ll be together."
